Getting offensive support from Spencer Torkelson, the New York Yankees topped the Baltimore Orioles, 6-3. Torkelson belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Yankees. The victory puts New York at 63-92.
With New York leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Torkelson hit a fastball from Jonathan Theilacker for a 2-run home run. It was his 29th home run of the season and put the Yankees ahead, 3-0.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said New York manager Grabstir Smith.
