Twins Get Past Cincinnati for 2-1 Win
The Minnesota Twins eked out a 2-1 win versus the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Jose Corniell. He was terrific. Cincinnati now has a record of 10-8.

Minnesota used a timely hit from Ben Topper to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Twins ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Corniell.
