Reds Win 6-2 Walk-Off

The Cincinnati Reds trumped the Minnesota Twins, 6-2, at Great American Ball Park. Cincinnati first baseman DJ LeMahieu was terrific. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Cincinnati reliever Luis Mey was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Edinson Batista took the loss. The Twins are now 8-12.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, LeMahieu hit a fastball from Edinson Batista for a grand slam home run. The Reds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," LeMahieu said.
