Sierra Awarded September's AZL Top Bat Prize Monday, October 1st , 2029 Jonathan Sierra is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Colorado (AZL) second baseman joined that select company when the Arizona Rookie League announced the results of September's voting. Sierra totaled 37 hits, 20 walks, 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and 23 runs scored last month to put together a .385 batting average and .492 on-base percentage. This season Sierra is swinging the bat at a .355 pace. He has hit 22 home runs and scored 50 times, while driving in 69. His on-base percentage is .467 and he has played in 63 games. |
