Rockies End Gonzalez's Streak Wednesday, September 25th , 2030 Victor Gonzalez of the San Diego (AZL) Padres came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the second baseman, San Diego (AZL) dropped the game to the Colorado (AZL) Rockies 9-2. "It was not a good day today," Gonzalez told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." This season Gonzalez is batting .356 with 5 home runs. His totals include 30 RBIs and 51 runs scored. |
