Astros Hector Pulgarin Will Miss Season Friday, August 31st , 2029 Hector Pulgarin has to call it a season. The Houston (AZL) Astros reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Cleveland (AZL) Guardians and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Pulgarin was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as bone chips in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. This season Pulgarin has been credited with no saves in 12 relief appearances. In 20.2 innings he has a 0-1 won-lost mark, 3.48 ERA and 26 strikeouts |
