Stitt and Linttell Brawl, League Suspends Them
Friday, August 31st , 2029
If there wasn't a history between John Austin Stitt of San Francisco (AZL) and Harry Linttell of Milwaukee (AZL), then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 8 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Stitt said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
In 2029 Stitt has hit at a .340 clip with 16 hits, 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and has scored 11 times.
Linttell has pitched 21.1 innings and molded a 5.48 ERA with 4 saves. He has surrendered 22 hits while registering 19 strikeouts on his way to a 1-1 record for the Brewers this year.
