Tampa Bay Hurler Wins NL #1 Player Award Monday, May 6th , 2030 Last week's standout player in the National League was the fine Tampa Bay Rays hurler Dave Mace. He rung up a 2-0 won-lost record while compiling an impressive 1.29 earned run average on his way to the Player of the Week Award. He struck out 13 in 14 innings as he held opponents to a .160 average. Thus far this season, Mace has tossed 49.2 innings in 7 starts, fanned 49 batters, walked 13 and put up a 2.72 ERA with 4 wins and 2 losses. |
