Franco Out of Action, Listed DTD Sunday, June 9th , 2030 Is Wander Franco going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out one week as the outstanding Tampa Bay third baseman attempts to shrug off a mild abdominal strain he sustained running the bases against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Franco feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the Tampa Bay Rays will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. This year Franco is batting .280 with 4 home runs and 24 RBIs. |
