Red-Hot Rookie Rewarded in July Thursday, August 1st , 2030 Youngster Alfredo Pagan emerged as the latest American League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Chicago deserved the honor, batting .366 with 5 home runs and 24 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Pagan enjoy the limelight. This season in 105 games Pagan is batting .262 with 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and has scored 49 times. |
