Philadelphia-Arizona Swap: de la Cruz for Hein Monday, August 5th , 2030 Done deal! The Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to send 21-year old minor league RHP David Lopez and 21-year old minor league CF Tony de la Cruz to the Arizona Diamondbacks for 26-year old LHP Chris Hein. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning. Arizona will retain a portion of Hein's remaining contract. To this point in the season Hein has 1 save in 28 relief appearances with a 2-2 record and 1.93 ERA. |
