Devers Reaches 2000 Monday, August 12th , 2030 New York's Rafael Devers belted his 2000th hit against Tampa Bay today, but the Rays spoiled the day with a 5-3 victory at Tropicana Field. On his milestone day, the 33-year-old third baseman went 2 for 6 at the plate for the Mets. In his 1864-game career Devers is batting .272 with 497 doubles, 23 triples, 369 home runs and 1214 RBIs.
