Juan Soto of New York Injured, DTD Tuesday, August 27th , 2030 New York's star right fielder Juan Soto injured himself in a game against the Chicago Cubs, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a bruised thigh and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Soto with a smile as he talked to reporters. Looking at his season stats, Soto has compiled a .253 batting average and a .355 on-base percentage, while hitting 27 home runs and driving in 86 runs. |
