Postseason Bid Ends for Chicago Sunday, September 22nd , 2030 Jordan Arenas said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Chicago Cubs after they missed the Major League Baseball playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Cubs have made the playoffs 21 times in their 160 years as a Major League Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 10th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2020. Chicago last won the World Series in 2016. |
