Stewart Grabs AA NE Best Batter Award for August Sunday, September 1st , 2030 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21 Chris Stewart has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Bowie Baysox star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the Double-A Northeast Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .396 average with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 22 runs scored. So far this season Stewart is batting .348 with 6 home runs. |
