Star of the Week Selected in AA C Monday, June 24th , 2030 Double-A Central pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Josh Jerger of the Corpus Christi Hooks out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 24-year-old first baseman boasted a .448 average with 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Jerger went 13-for-29 for the week. This season Jerger is batting .319 with 72 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 42 times and has 37 RBI. |
