League Punishes Pair for Fighting Sunday, July 28th , 2030 After an intense confrontation, both the Hooks Andy Tuohy and the Travelers Erik Stegall were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Corpus Christi-Arkansas game. Andy Tuohy will miss 4 games, while Erik Stegall was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Andy Tuohy commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This season Tuohy is batting .273 with 24 hits, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs, .385 OBP and has scored 13 runs. This season Stegall has compiled a 0-1 mark, 7.47 ERA and made 5 starts. |
