Rowdy Players Suspended by League

Dan Flanagan of the Corpus Christi Hooks and David Camargo of the Akron RubberDucks will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Hooks-RubberDucks game at Whataburger Field.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Flanagan and Camargo will begin serving them soon.

For the year Flanagan is batting .265 with 27 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 18 times and driven in 16.

This season Camargo has made 34 relief appearances and saved 0 games. His record is 2-3 with 43 strikeouts in 58.1 innings with a 6.17 ERA.
