Double-A Central Announces #1 Player Monday, August 5th , 2030 Mario Popoca is respected by most Corpus Christi Hooks fans for his no-frills style of play. The 25-year-old catcher went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Double-A Central Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .318 average (7-for-22) with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season Popoca is hitting .291 with 15 home runs. |
