Season Possibly Over for Joe Kelley Monday, August 26th , 2030 Joe Kelley has to call it a season. The San Antonio Missions second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Frisco RoughRiders and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Kelley was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn anterior cruciate ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 8 months. So far this season Kelley has put up a .262 batting average with 109 hits, 16 home runs and 61 RBIs. |
