Dunman Goes 5-for-6 Friday, July 12th , 2030 Even as a kid, Geralmi Dunman said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium today, Dunman showed how well he learned that lesson. The 23-year-old third baseman had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Quad Cities River Bandits, helping his team knock off the South Bend Cubs by a score of 8-4. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today." Geralmi Dunman singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
