High-A Central Selects #1 Starter in September

The Pitcher of the Month for September has been picked and the High-A Central award went to Beloit hurler, Steve Taylor.
During the month, Taylor was impressive with a 1.19 ERA and 4 wins and no losses. In 22.2 innings he struck out 17 and gave up 23 hits and 3 walks.
To date this year in 29 starts, Taylor has crafted a 15-8 mark with a 2.82 ERA.

Ramos Picks Up Best A+ C Batter Honors for September

It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 24 Juan Ramos has a lot of baseball ahead of him.
But for now the young Beloit Snappers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in September, which have garnered him the nod as the High-A Central Batter of the Month.
His breakout month featured a .384 average with 4 home runs, 20 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
This season Ramos is batting .322 with 167 hits, 19 home runs, 96 RBIs, 78 walks, .418 OBP and has scored 104 runs. He has played in 133 games.
