Tomas Asencio Hurt, Out for Year Monday, July 22nd , 2030 Doctors in Cedar Rapids said Tomas Asencio might not play anymore this year. The Kernels reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a game against the Beloit Snappers and will be out for at least 7-8 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. To date this year Asencio has won 2 and lost 1 with a 3.32 ERA, no saves and 28 strikeouts in 27 relief appearances. |
