Calzada on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Down East Friday, July 19th , 2030 All game long, Kannapolis's Esteban Calzada was rattling the walls at Grainger Stadium and banging out base hits against the Down East Wood Ducks. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Cannon Ballers had a 11-8 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 21-year-old center fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Esteban Calzada tripled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
