Hamilton Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Monday, August 26th , 2030 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Sean Hamilton did it again, bashing 3 hits in the contest at Bethel Park Grounds today. For the last 20 games in a row, the 22-year-old third baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Bethel Park White Wings beat the Charleston RiverDogs 9-6 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Hamilton told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Bethel Park clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Sean Hamilton singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. A look at his current stats shows Hamilton with a .407 average, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 23 games. |
