Peddycord Belts 5 Hits Sunday, September 9th , 2029 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Miami (DSL)'s Andy Peddycord made it happen today against the Royals. Everything came together at the plate for the 22-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Marlins to a 8-5 win at Kansas City Royals Complex. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Peddycord said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Andy Peddycord hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
