Chris Beauchamp Out 13-14 Months With Injury Thursday, September 20th , 2029 The St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals were informed today by team doctors that reliever Chris Beauchamp sustained a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in a recent game against the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians and will not play for 13-14 months. Beauchamp was hurt throwing a pitch. Beauchamp has compiled an ERA of 2.00 so far this season, winning 2 games with no losses and no saves. In 5 relief appearances he has hurled 9 innings, yielded 4 hits and struck out 8. Opposing hitters have batted .138 against Beauchamp. |
