Andy Castillo Sidelined for 4-5 Months Friday, September 21st , 2029 New York N (DSL) learned today that they will be without reliever Andy Castillo for 4-5 months. Castillo was injured throwing a pitch and sustained a torn labrum. He was hurt in the game against the Oakland (DSL) Athletics. This year Castillo has 8 relief appearances with no saves, 1-1 season record and a 4.18 ERA. He has hurled 28 innings, given up 24 hits, struck out 26 and walked 24. Opposing clubs have batted .242 against the New York N (DSL) reliever. |
