Chris Wagner Suffers Injury Thursday, October 4th , 2029 When Chris Wagner was hurt against the Colorado (DSL) Rockies, the San Diego (DSL) Padres were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn back muscle throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Wagner would miss 4-5 months of the season. Thus far this season, Wagner has tossed 81 innings in 13 starts, fanned 111 batters, walked 47 and put up a 3.67 ERA with 7 wins and 4 losses. |
