Balsemo Rips Baltimore (DSL) for 5 Hits Friday, August 9th , 2030 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Lionardo Balsemo of the San Francisco (DSL) Giants had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate today in the 7-5 win over the Baltimore (DSL) Orioles at Rawling Foundation Complex. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 21-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Lionardo Balsemo singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jose Mora in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
