Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Monday, August 20th , 2029 Mike de Jesus of Detroit (DSL) and Jimmy Brinkley of St. Louis (DSL) were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. de Jesus will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Brinkley was given 8 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. To date this year de Jesus is batting .217 with no home runs. To date this year Brinkley has fashioned a 8.31 ERA over 8.2 innings with a 0-0 record. He has made 6 relief appearances with 8 strikeouts and no saves. |
