The Cincinnati Reds knocked off the Houston Astros, 8-7, at Minute Maid Park. Guo-xiu Tse was a big reason Cincinnati won. The left fielder belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Tom MacVail notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. His record now sits at 4-3. Cincinnati is now 24-15, 4 games up in the National League Central Division.

Tse had a timely hit for Cincinnati in the top of the eighth. With Houston trailing 5-4, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season, making it 6-5, Cincinnati.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Reds manager Sean Bain. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
