Lafrosia, Nationals Sink Tigers Again in Game 2
Riding the 4-hit performance of left fielder Francisco Lafrosia, the Washington Nationals got a road win against the Detroit Tigers, 8-2, in Game 2 of the World Series today. Lafrosia was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Nationals, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Washington used the bat of Logan O'Neill to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Nationals ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"I'm really happy I delivered," said Lafrosia. "The pressure is so high up there, it's indescribable. This is the World Series."

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Nationals Park.
