Raucous Nationals Park Crowd Propels Nationals to 7-3 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The Washington Nationals topped the Cincinnati Reds by the score of 7-3 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the League Championship Series today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Washington starter Gerard Watkins, who threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball in the win.

John McGee dealt the Reds a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Washington leading 4-2, McGee hit a 2-2 forkball for a bases-clearing double.

"Nothing fazes Gerard," said Washington manager Ryan Martin.
