Almost There: Colorado On Cusp of R4 Triumph After 7-5 Win
The Colorado Rockies moved to within one game of the Round 5 today, downing the visiting San Diego Padres at Coors Field by a score of 7-5. Rockies first baseman Vincent Watson was named player of the game after he slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The win gives the Rockies a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 World Series.

Colorado grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and a runner on 1st, Duane Hansen delivered a run-scoring triple, to make it 6-5 in favor of the Rockies.

"We have been clicking right from the start of this series, so our mission statement at the moment is just don't tinker with anything," Colorado manager Benjamin Spiro told reporters.

Game 5 is set to be played tomorrow at Coors Field. The scheduled starters for the game are Jorge Costa for San Diego and Kevin López for Colorado.
