A good performance from right fielder Michael Crouss helped the Minnesota Twins defeat the Chicago White Sox, 5-3. Crouss was 3-4 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Twins. Minnesota, at 42-30, occupies second place in the American League Central Division.

Minnesota relied on the hitting of Rafael Negrete to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Twins on top, 4-1. For the game, Negrete had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
