Brewers Clip Pirates, 4-3
|
The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 4-3, at PNC Park. Milwaukee shortstop John Brosseau had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. At 37-64, Milwaukee is in last place in the National League Central Division.
The game turned with one out in the top of the eighth when Brosseau hit a solo home run. It propelled the Brewers into the lead, 4-3.
