McConnell Excels in 5-3 New York Win
Getting offensive support from Jack McConnell, the New York Mets topped the Washington Nationals, 5-3. McConnell was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Mets. Ryosei Wada got the win, improving to 2-5. He worked 5 innings, giving up 2 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2.
