The Atlanta Braves defeated the New York Mets, 7-4, at Citi Field today. Leading the charge for Atlanta was catcher Ronald Baldwin. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. New York's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
Atlanta used a well-timed hit by Roberto Marín to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Braves ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.
"We'll try to build on that win," Marín told the Atlanta Herald.
