Gijbels Now 6-3 After Subduing Mets
The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the New York Mets, 6-0, at Citi Field. Starting pitcher Reggie Gijbels was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The win lifted the Arizona record to 76-60.

Gijbels was in the zone all game. He frustrated New York hitters while giving the Diamondbacks 7 innings of quality work. Gijbels threw 87 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
