Indians Improve to 6-4 with 9-4 Win
The Cleveland Indians topped the Boston Red Sox, 9-4, with catcher Fedyenka Tiguntsev playing a big role. Tiguntsev was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Indians in the win. Cleveland reliever Gilberto Hernández picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Paul Crawford was saddled with the loss. The win lifts Cleveland to a record of 6-4.

With Cleveland leading 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Tiguntsev hit a fastball from Emílio Falc for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Indians ahead, 9-3.

"Glad to get this win," said Tiguntsev. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
