The Cleveland Indians picked up a win at Pickard Field, courtesy of Mike Farr. The right-hander helped his team stop the Minnesota Twins, 3-1. Cleveland is 76-82 and Minnesota, with the loss, 95-63.
In the bottom of the sixth, Cleveland designated hitter Cheung Fang gave his team the lead. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Silverback hit his 42nd home run of the year. Minnesota pitcher Shane Sandoval surrendered it. With that, the Indians jumped in front, 3-1.
"It was our day today," Farr told the Cleveland Daily. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
