McIntosh Powers Reds Offense
Cincinnati and Pittsburgh duked it out and the Reds came out victorious.

The Cincinnati Reds saddled the Pittsburgh Pirates with a loss at PNC Park. The final score was 6-4. Greg McIntosh was 3 for 5, including 2 singles and 1 home run. The Cincinnati left fielder scored 1 run and drove in 5. Tom MacVail picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. Bartolo Chávez was tagged with the loss.

McIntosh had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-2 circle change from Louis Ferneyhough, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Reds a 6-3 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for McIntosh.

"We take it day by day here," said McIntosh, "and today was a good one for us."

The Pirates fall to 12-15 and continue their rocky start to the 2071 season.
