Marlins Pepe Elizondo to Miss Year Wednesday, June 10th , 2071
The season is finished for Pepe Elizondo of the Miami Marlins. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Marlins starting pitcher suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Houston Astros. Team doctors said it would take at least 12 months to heal.
