Setback for Miami and David Massey Friday, June 19th , 2071 Miami shortstop David Massey has suffered a setback in his recovery from a pulled abdominal muscle. According to Marlins officials, he will be out of action for one week. "Doctors are concerned with the rate of healing and have decided that Massey will need additional time in rehab before he will be cleared to play," one team spokesman explained to reporters. This year Massey is hitting .238, produced 24 RBIs and 4 home runs, scored 21 times and gotten on base at a .308 rate. |
