González Top Hitter in AC in August Monday, September 1st , 2070 At only 24 years of age, Jack González could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Portland Beavers, as August was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the Pacific Conference Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .361 with 9 home runs, 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Currently González is batting .341 with 42 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 30 runs and scored 20 times. |
