Rowdy Players Suspended by League Wednesday, September 3rd , 2070 Jack González of the Portland Beavers and Kenny Lewis of the Tucson Padres received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Ballpark of Newark. For the year González is batting .321 with 11 home runs. This year Lewis has compiled a 9-9 record with a 5.39 ERA in 24 starts. |
