Huerta Shackles NWL Tuesday, July 22nd , 2070 Joaquín Huerta of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes put the clamps on the opposition and held the NWL Braves scoreless in a 6-hit win. "He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said NWL skipper after the 17-0 loss. Huerta was on target most of the game and finished with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk. On the year Huerta has worked 73.1 innings with 69 strikeouts en route to a 4-1 record and 4.17 ERA. |
