His 5-for-6 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the NWL Braves, as the club lost the game, 11-10. The 22-year-old shortstop told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked." "I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Ramírez said. Luis Ramírez singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Jeff Woods in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. So far this season Ramírez is hitting .327 with 23 home runs. |
