Tafuna got a strong outing from Severo Vakaloloma as the Clippers defeated the Tonga Kings, 4-2, at Ha'amonga 'a Maui Park. Pat Hakwa earned the save, his 4th. The win gives Tafuna a record of 10-7.

Tafuna used a clutch hit from Jonathan Bogisa to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Clippers ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I think we all put in a good day's work," said Vakaloloma.
